Sound Force Studio is a Lisbon-based sound design and audio post-production studio founded by a multicultural collective of artists from Ukraine, India, and Lebanon. Located in the heart of Lisbon, the studio brings together diverse creative perspectives to develop meaningful collaborations with filmmakers, musicians, and media artists from around the world.

Specialising in film sound, we provide a complete range of audio services including sound design, dialogue editing, Foley, music production, recording, and final mixing. Our facilities include dedicated sound editing suites, an isolated recording booth, and a 5.1 surround mixing room designed for professional film and media productions.

Since its establishment, Sound Force Studio has contributed sound design and audio work to hundreds of projects, including fiction films, documentaries, exhibitions, and music recordings. Our work has been recognised by institutions such as the Ukrainian Film Institute, European national broadcasters, major film festivals, and international media outlets including Berlinale, IndieLisboa, DocLisboa, IDFA, and The New Yorker Magazine.

Beyond sound production, Sound Force Studio is a creative hub built around collaboration and knowledge exchange. We have hosted audiovisual residencies, workshops, and community events, and we are proud to be associated partners of the Kino Eyes and DocNomads Film Masters programmes.

Through sound, music, and collaboration, we aim to create a space where artists from different backgrounds can come together to tell stories that resonate.

    Tarun Madupu

    SOUND DESIGNER, RE-RECORDING MIXER

    Tarun Madupu is a sound designer and re-recording mixer. After graduating from the Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music in India, he pursued and obtained his Master's degree from Kino Eyes - The European Movie Masters. Currently, he is undertaking his Ph.D. in Arts and Media at Lusofona University.

    Margaryta Kulichova

    COMPOSER, SOUND DESIGNER

    Margaryta Kulichova is an award-winning composer, sound designer, producer, and singer-songwriter under the moniker Grisly Faye. She is a member of the Ukrainian Film Academy and OneBeat 2018 Alumni. She graduated from the sound design department of KinoEyes (European Movie Masters) and is currently working on her PhD while teaching at Lusofona University.

    Johnny Farah

    RECORDIST, SOUND DESIGNER

    Johnny Farah is a skilled sound recordist, and foley specialist with 10 years of experience. He graduated from Notre Dame University in Lebanon in 2012 with a BA in media and arts communication, specializing in sound recording. In 2020, he graduated from KinoEyes European Movie Masters, specializing in sound for film.
